Phnom Banan (Banan Hill) is one of tourist attractions in Battambang province, Cambodia. It is about 25 kilometers from the town, and there is temple built on the hill. There are 358 steps to reach the top of the hill, and you can see the view of Sangkae river from the top hill.
The temple was built in mid-11th to end-12th century, first by King Ut Tak Yea Tit Tya Varman II, then finally built by King Jayavarman VII.
